Summer is the time for dolphin and mutton snapper. The last couple weeks the dolphin fishing has been very slow with most fish not meeting the 20 inch size limit. Too much running around for too little rewards. The wreck and reef fishing, however has been excellent. Mutton snappers averaging 5-8 pounds and an occasional fish weighing up to 12 pounds. We've also caught black grouper in the 20-25 pound class. Always a bonus when snapper fishing. There's been plenty of kingfish and bonitos to keep everyone busy on the surface rods while waiting for that well anticipated bottom bite. Let's go catch them!
