Summer Kings

The past week we've enjoyed some of the best kingfishing in months. We've caught our limit on every trip and even released a few.

A limit of summer kingfish

The largest was 32 pounds and most of them have been between 10 & 20 pounds. Very hard to beat the fast action of a big king eating a live herring on a 15 pound test spinning reel. Still a few bonitos around. We had a sailfish on one of our trips and a 22 pound blackfin tuna. There's been a bit of an ocean breeze to keep most of the heat down. (until we get back to land where it's very hot).Lets go fishing !
