Hunter's big kingfish

This August seems to so far be great for catching some big kingfish. We've caught our limit on almost every trip over the last couple weeks with only a few bonitos mixed in. Six year old Hunter Smith from North Miami caught a 29 pounder on a 15 pound spinning reel with very little help from his dad. The biggest fish of the trip. His cousin Chris added this 27 pound blackfin tuna.

In a couple hours of afternoon fishing they caught 7 kings in total and several bonito as well. This was the second tuna caught this week and a couple sailfish thrown in. If it wasn't so hot, I would swear it was May.
