Good fishin !

Report Date: October 6, 2007

Well after a month of vacations and boatyards, we finally got back out on the water. The gills were drying up so it was very welcomed. The day started out a little windy and had to deal with 4-6 foot seas. We were drifting between 300 and 120 feet of water, because of the seas we couldn't move around too much. We started out with a couple small kingfish. After a couple hours we noticed some birds a little north of us . When we ran to them we caught a 14 pound dolphin. We continued to make the same drift over and over and steadly caught kings and dolphin. By days end we had 8 dolphin and 4 kingfish.

kings & dolphin

The other 2 boats that were out that day also had decent amounts of dolphin. October and November have been known to be good dolphin months off Miami. Lets hope it keeps going
