Spring fishing off Miami
Report Date: April 12, 2008
Finally my favorite time of the year has arrived. Spring fishing in Miami is the best in the world. Big kingfish, sailfish, cobias and blackfin tunas.

Big Kingfish

This week we've caught lots of bonitos and a couple blackfin tunas that were swimming with them. The kingfish have ranged in size from 8 pounds up to 30 pounds. Most of the sails have been caught during the morning hours.

While the tunas usually prefer to feed late in the day. The tarpon fishing has also been excellent. they have been from 50-100 pounds. Great fishing & great weather
