Hot tuna fishing in Miami

This past week the fishing fishing in Miami has been excellent. We've caught atleast 3 tunas on every trip. We had 5 one day.

Spring Tunas

The sailfish and kingfish have filled in the gaps while waiting for the tunas to show up. We chum with live pilchards and everything swims in to get in on the action. This time of year we are fortunate to have Blackfin Tunas. They get up to 35 pounds and are quite the battle on 20 pound tackle. Great to eat as well.

Spring King

This past weekend we fished in The Miami Dolphins Fishing Tournament. The winner has the highest total combined weight of tunas, kingfish, dolphin and wahoo. I fished with Ron Glazer and his crew. We weighed 3 tunas and 4 kingfish giving us enough weight to take 3rd place of the 94 boat fleet. Don't miss the action
