Spring sailfishing

As we slip into the spring months and start to thaw out from our freezing Florida winter. Sailfishing has picked up over the last week or so. We've been mostly anchoring and fishing with live pilchards. Catching limits of kingfish some up to 30 pounds, lots of bonitos and some school size dolphin starting to show up. We've also caught some big grouper and for the first time in my life had to let them go due to the new closure which ends May 1. It was a hard thing to do. Blackfin tunas are also starting to show up. A feel some good spring fishing ahead.
